Kokoa Kamili fermentary are well known for their incredibly quality of beans, paying more to their farmers for ‘wet’ cocoa straight from harvested pods. They then ferment and dry the beans, meaning that farmers have more time to focus on other aspects of growing, starting small businesses or having some down time—freeing up some of their time means potential access to forms of extra income or a better quality of life.
