Clothing Care

Clothing

shuh. clothing is made in small batches, helping to minimise waste.

As each style and garment features different material compositions, please find the care instructions for specific garment type below:

Linen Top & Dresses
We love using natural materials whenever possible, especially in our handmade clothing range. To care for your garment, we recommend a cold hand wash or machine wash using a laundry bag and a mild detergent. Hang to dry in the shade and use a warm iron on the reverse side if needed. Please avoid tumble drying, bleaching, wringing, or rubbing the print to ensure longevity.

Sweaters
shuh. sweaters are currently made from cotton and recycled polyester. They are screen-printed in Australia. To extend the life of the print, we recommend washing them in cold water, inside out, using a laundry bag and a mild detergent. When ironing, turn the garment inside out, especially over the printed area.

Short Sleeve Tees
shuh. tees are made from cotton and screen-printed in Australia. To extend the life of the print, we recommend washing them in cold water, inside out, using a laundry bag and a mild detergent. When ironing, turn the garment inside out, especially over the printed area.

Lambswool Beanies
shuh. beanies are embroidered in small batches in Melbourne, Australia. Each winter, we release a limited collection. To care for your beanie, we recommend hand washing in cold water or using the wool machine wash setting in a laundry bag with a mild wool detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or fabric softeners. Gently squeeze out excess water without twisting or wringing. Lay flat to dry, away from direct heat or sunlight. Reshape while damp to maintain its original form. Store flat or folded to prevent stretching. Pilling may occur naturally with wear and can be easily removed with a pilling comb or fabric shaver.

Socks
shuh. socks are proudly made in Australia in small batches! To care for them, we recommend cold or warm gentle machine wash with like colours. Use mild detergent. Do not bleach, dry clean or tumble dry. Line dry in shade. Avoid ironing to maintain elasticity.
