Epping is a station in Melbourne’s north, located around 21 km from the CBD. Once an end-of-the-line stop, it is now part of the South Morang line, which opened in April 2012.
Epping Station originally opened in 1889 as part of a country service to Whittlesea. After being closed and largely dismantled in 1959, it was later revived in 1964 as an electrified metropolitan terminal.
